Luster-On Aluminescent is a powdered product used to form a non-hexavalent chromium conversion coating on aluminum surfaces. The process provides excellent corrosion protection at low cost and forms a base for paint, lacquer, or rubber bonding. The coating can be applied by immersion, spray, brush, swab, or roll coating, requires no electric current, cooling or exhaust. Luster-On Aluminescent yields clear, slightly iridescent films while forming a protective surface with low electrical resistance. Luster-On Aluminescent is suitable for both wrought and cast aluminum alloys and is designed for ease of operation with minimum control. Conversion coatings generated by Luster-On Aluminescent are compliant with European REACH, RoHS, ELV and WEEE directives. The Aluminescent is listed on the QPL, meeting all requirements for MIL-DTL-5541F, Type II, Class 1A and Class 3.

Luster-On Aluminescent-LQ is a liquid product used to form a non-hexavalent chromium conversion coating on aluminum surfaces. The process provides excellent corrosion protection at low cost and forms a base for paint, lacquer, or rubber bonding. The coating can be applied by immersion, spray, brush, swab, or roll coating, requires no electric current, cooling or exhaust. Luster-On Aluminescent-LQ yields clear, slightly iridescent films while forming a protective surface with low electrical resistance. Luster-On Aluminescent-LQ is suitable for both wrought and cast aluminum alloys and is designed for ease of operation with minimum control. Conversion coatings generated by Luster-On Aluminescent-LQ are compliant with European REACH, RoHS, ELV and WEEE directives and meet or exceed the requirements of Mil-DTL-5541F, Type II, Class 1A and Class 3. Luster-On Aluminescent-LQ is listed on the QPL, meeting all the requirements for Mil-DTL-5541F, for Type II, Class 1A and Class 3.

Luster-On Aluminescent TX is a thickened liquid product used to form a non-hexavalent conversion coating on aluminum and zinc-nickel alloy surfaces where immersion of the part is not possible. Typical applications include field repair of previously coated assemblies and protection of assemblies which cannot be immersed in liquid and which cannot be coated prior to assembly. The coating can be applied by spray, brush, swab, or roll coating, requires no electric current, cooling or exhaust. Luster-On Aluminescent TX yields clear, slightly iridescent films while forming a protective surface with low electrical resistance. Luster-On Aluminescent TX contains a thickener that allows the conversion coating to be painted onto the surface to be protected. It is suitable for both wrought and cast aluminum. Conversion coatings generated by Luster-On Aluminescent TX are compliant with European RoHS, REACH and ELV directives and meet or exceed the requirements of Mil-DTL-5541F, Type II, Class 1A and Class 3.

Luster-On AS 950 is a RoHS compliant, trivalent chromium based sealant for Type II and Type III sulfuric acid anodized aluminum. The Luster-On AS 950 has shown to be superior to nickel acetate and hot water seals in performance and economy. The AS 950 can be applied at far lower temperatures than the standard aluminum seals. The AS 950 seal may affect the appearance of certain dyes.

Luster-On AS 990 is a RoHS compliant, heavy metal free sealant for Type II and Type III sulfuric acid anodized aluminum. The Luster-On 990 seals non-dyed and dyed anodized aluminum surfaces. The Luster-On AS 990 has shown to be superior to nickel acetate and hot water seals in performance and economy. The AS 990 can be applied at far lower temperatures than the standard aluminum seals. The AS 990 provides excellent corrosion protection when exposed to neutral salt spray.
